When you can't be home for them, whether because of work, vacation or other obligations, you want them taken care of with the same love and attention you give them. Psychological research shows that animals are most comfortable in a familiar environment.  Many veterinarians recommend that pets stay home when their owners are away so that they maintain their regular diet, which avoids digestive problems, and sleep and play in their accustomed places, with familiar smells and sights.  In addition, there's no risk of acquiring diseases or parasites from other animals if they were in a kennel away from home.

 

 

The number and location of customers change daily, so I can't always guarantee a specific time.  I strive to be consistent with your pet's routine because, like people, animals like regularity in their lives.  Visits will be approximately the same time each day, and visits can be up to three times a day.  The length of the visit depends mainly on your pets' needs for play and social time.

 

 

I will visit your home each day, feed your pet the food you choose, provide fresh water, exercise, accident and litter box clean-up, and medication and emergency care if needed.  But, most importantly, I will play with your pet--providing the bright spot in their day while your away.  I will have the name of your veterinarian and will arrange for care should your pet become ill. 

 

I will also water you plants, clean up, open/close draperies/blinds, take in mail and newspapers, and/or alternate lights.

 

 

First and foremost we will need to set-up a time and date that works best for you for an initial interview.  This will allow me to chat with you and figure out what you are looking for and what I can do for you.  It will also allow me to meet with your critter to see and make sure they like me and are comfortable with me.

 

From there we will set up a schedule or appointment depending upon how many times you would like me to care for your pet. Whether it be while you are at work, on vacation or just out of town.
